Quick update:
Ive made it to Morrison Illinois. Thank you for the continued support. These past couple days have been awesome, and I hope it continues. I was lucky enough to be interviewed by channel 8 who had heard of the walk and wanted to help spread the word. Again, this walk from California to Washington DC is to raise awareness for homeless veterans and veterans with behavioral health issues. From here, I plan to continue on highway 30 for as long as possible. Hope to see you on the road.
If you'd like to donate to the walk, you can visit www.crowdrise.com/natewalks
Thank You again to everyone who has helped me get this far. Lets keep going and reach DC.

ReplyDelete“My own heroes are the dreamers, those men and women who tried to make the world a better place than when they found it, whether in small ways or great ones. Some succeeded, some failed, most had mixed results... but it is the effort that's heroic, as I see it. Win or lose, I admire those who fight the good fight.”
